Anthea was genuinely a superstar in making our wedding day for us and our handful of guests. We wanted efficient organisation, absolute privacy, and seamless delivery, and she excelled at them all. Witnessing how busy she was on the day made us realise just how many important little tasks go on in the background that weren’t anywhere close to being on our radar, and we were so incredibly thankful to Anthea for being there on the day helping everything go smoothly, and giving us a stress-free wedding.

When we imagined our wedding day and ceremony it was full of love and most definitely laughter. Anthea captured who we really are and tailored our ceremony to fit us perfectly. A huge thank you to Anthea for creating such a perfect elopement for us. What a whirlwind of a week! We decided to get married whilst travelling through New Zealand in a campervan. On week two of our month long trip, we emailed Anthea to see if a last minute wedding was even possible given our lack of notice. She responded with an enthusiastic 'yes!' and then the fun began! Our initial enquiry happened on a Monday and 7 days later we were saying our vows, Anthea guided us through the process step by step in such a calm and thoughtful manner. We were amazed that she managed to organise flowers, a cake, witnesses and a make up and hair stylist in less than a few days. She even found a campsite for us to stay at so we could get married on the banks of beautiful Lake Hawea. The day was effortless from start to finish which suited our relaxed ethos perfectly. Anthea's ability to adapt to all of the roles required was incredible and nothing phased her, full of energy and positivity. She got to know us in such a short time which made the ceremony feel really personal and lots of fun! Getting married in New Zealand was everything we had hoped it would be and we are so grateful to Anthea for making our day so special. Thank you!

We had been considering having a registry style wedding when we ran into Anthea. We are so glad that we decided to use Anthea's services instead of our original plan. Our wedding had some unique requirements and what we appreciated from Anthea, was that nothing was a problem. She was supportive of our ideas and came up with some great ones of her own to suit our needs. The ceremony she created for us was special to us, reflecting who we are as a couple. Rain threw us some curveballs but Anthea was flexible and positive. Anthea is incredibly well spoken and delivered the ceremony professionally and with warmth. The extra touches of photos and videos was an absolute bonus. She created the most beautiful record of our special day. We are forever grateful that we chose Anthea as our celebrant.

We looked around for a celebrant as we wanted one that would fit in with how we envisaged our wedding day and after our first meeting with Anthea we knew she was the one!  Anthea went above and beyond her call of duties as a celebrant and videographer coming to my aid with a wedding dress crisis days before the wedding, painting the bridesmaids toe nails while we all got ready, and various other tasks we did not expect of her.  We wanted an informal type wedding with all the formalities in there and that is exactly what we got.  The videography Anthea created was also amazing with some fantastic photos chucked in there too.  The bridal party all commented on how wonderful she was.  We were so pleased with Anthea we cannot recommend her highly enough; she certainly helped shape the day into what was truly perfect!

This was the most perfect couple of days. All down to you with your artistic vision, you gave us the perfect venue with picturesque views. And on top of that you organised everything we required for the day including our constant battle with dietary conditions. We, as a family, loved how special you made this day. We can’t thank you enough and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Anthea to anyone wanting a stress free, amazing experience for their wedding. 

After over 15 years we decided to finally ‘make it official’ and enlisted the help of Anthea Lawrence from ‘Marry Me’ as our celebrant. We had some precise requirements: It was going to be a “surprise” wedding, masquerading as a 50th birthday. We wanted ‘real’ with a good dose of humour and not religious or overly formal. Anthea exceeded all our expectations and created a wee bit of magic on the edge of Lake Dunstan, at Lowburn Hall. Before the event, she interviewed both Geoff and I and somehow crafted a ceremony that was just the was just the right balance of giggles mixed with tear-jerking honesty. 

 After the vows, Anthea became our MC for the speeches and I felt like our event was overseen by a wise and trusted concierge, who helped keep me calm amidst all the wedding ‘crazy’.

Anthea you were an absolute dream to work with! Thank you for helping us to create our perfect ceremony - relaxed, simple, humorous and full of love - so us! We so appreciated your calming nature and how easy you were to work with. Your wonderful words captured our relationship perfectly, like you had known us for years!

I so wish we could work with you again but we will only be getting married once!! Maybe we will have to do a vow renewal in the years to come!

I simply can't thank Anthea enough for the day she pulled together for us. It was perfect, full of laughter, special moments and stress free. We contacted Anthea about half way through our 2 week camper trip. Having gotten engaged 5 days earlier we both decided (quite last minute) we'd like to try get married whilst we were still away. Anthea got back to us pretty much straight away and told us it was 'absolutely possible' to get married within the next 5 days (!), guiding us with how to apply, what to consider, providing locations of interest and assuring us there was absolutely no pressure if it wasn't going to work out. But it did! Somehow Anthea switched between celebrant, to photographer, to videographer and managed to keep it all under control, light hearted and sincere all at the same time. We wanted to say a HUGE thank you for what you did, you really made the wedding super special for us and made us both feel comfortable, it was an absolute beautiful speech and meant a lot to us, we were extremely impressed and so was our family.

We had planned a trip to New Zealand last December, and about 6 weeks before we were scheduled to leave we decided to elope while we were there. We stumbled across the most magical venue, being The Canyon's B&B in Arthurs Point. Despite it being the coldest summer's day we have ever experienced, our wedding was absolutely perfect. We organised everything with Anthea via email and phone calls from Australia before we left for NZ, and met her on the day. She was friendly, welcoming and told our story with warmth. Anthea looked after all the paperwork involved, and took some beautiful photos and sent them through for us. We'd highly recommend Anthea to others, and thank her for helping to make our day so special and memorable.
